Silicone Molding OperatorLocation: Saint Petersburg, FLPay Rate: $15.00/HrJob Overview:Mold parts per customer specifications while maintaining quality and production standardsRequirementsAble to sit or stand for extended periods of timeAbility to maintain positive relationships with team membersAble to follow safety rulesAbility to adjust shifts as business requirements dictateAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesResponsibilitiesResponsible for the molding of silicone parts according to product specifications & SOPOperate the basic controls on all machines and injection cylindersInspect parts according to the quality standards outlined in the procedure during the cycle timeMaintain cleanliness of workstation, to include machine and silicone pump and required daily cleaning checklistComply with established safety rules and PPE as requiredOther projects and duties as assignedMental & Physical QualificationsRead, interpret, and follow safety rules and procedures in accordance to Alps Quality PolicyNear acuity and hand/eye coordination required for proper packagingAble to hear in a production setting; machinery, loud noises, etc.Vision requirements include reading written documents and using a computer monitor screen frequently.The position is routinely required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, touch, see, and hear, and may be required to lift or move up to 35 pounds.The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.Schedule & Pay:$15.00/HrM-F 8AM -5:00pmEducation:High School diplomaExperience:Must have 2 year experienceLanguage:Ability to understand, speak, and read English clearly.Physical Demands:Be able to lift up to 25lbs on a regular basisStand or sit for long periods of time.
