You will develop software to validate various communication and thermal IP blocks in Apple SoCs working with other teams to bring up and debug SoC's issues and coordinate to run tests.Minimum QualificationsMinimum BS Degree.Preferred QualificationsExperience in low level software development in a linux/unix environmentProficiency in C/C++ programmingGeneral knowledge of computer architecture and operating systemKnowledge and skill in Python programmingExperience with communication blocks (RS232, SPI, I2C, SDIO, USB, PCI)Experience with power management, voltage and/or thermal monitoring, dynamic voltage and frequency scaling, performance throttlingFamiliar with digital design, design verification, and silicon and analog characterizationExperience with assembly languages, and scripting languagesExperience with using test equipment, analyzers and debuggerAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,300 and $194,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
