Shop SupervisorMMBR Systems, LLC, an Integrated Water Services (IWS) company, is seeking a highly motivated Shop Supervisor who will be responsible for leading assembly and warehouse operations at our new North Austin, TX facility. This role oversees production staff, ensures quality and safety standards are met, and drives efficient, on-time delivery of membrane system components and equipment.A key focus of this role is supporting the successful transfer and startup of production operations, while building a high-performing team and establishing scalable processes.Integrated Water Services (IWS) is revolutionizing water! Join us in building a better future, one water drop at a time.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise shop personnel, including hiring, training, and day-to-day performance managementTransfer and stand up membrane product assembly operations from an existing facility into the Austin locationPlan and manage production schedules to meet delivery timelines and operational targetsOversee warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, storage, and shipping using ERP systemsEnsure products are assembled, packaged, and delivered according to technical and quality standardsMaintain strict adherence to safety standards and conduct regular safety inspectionsIdentify process improvements and implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiativesCoordinate resources including labor, materials, tools, and equipment to minimize downtimeMaintain accurate production records and provide operational reporting to managementCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, quality, and purchasing teamsRequirementsRequired:2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse operationsStrong leadership and team management skillsKnowledge of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and material handlingExperience with ERP or MRP systems for inventory and production trackingExcellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsPreferred:Associate or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related fieldExperience with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologiesCertifications such as Lean Six Sigma, CPIM, or Certified Production Technician (CPT)Physical & Work EnvironmentManufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to equipment and moderate noiseAbility to lift up to 40 lbs and operate material handling equipmentMay require extended hours, overtime, or occasional weekend workWhy Join IWS?Opportunity to play a key role in launching and scaling a new production facilityCollaborative, growth-oriented environment with strong cross-functional supportMission-driven work delivering critical water infrastructure solutionsIWS is an equal opportunity employer, we do not discriminate based on marital status, race, color, creed, gender, sex, religion, national origin, gender identity, age, veteran status, union affiliation, physical or mental disability, citizenship status, or sexual orientation.
