Key Responsibilities
- Prepare items and surfaces before painting.
- Scrape, sand, clean, and prepare surfaces as required.
- Apply paint and coatings using brushes, rollers, and approved equipment.
- Complete touch-ups and detail work.
- Mask areas that should remain unpainted.
- Prepare materials and equipment for painting activities.
- Maintain painting tools and equipment.
- Keep the shop and assigned work areas organized.
- Assist with material handling and cleanup.
- Follow project specifications and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous painting, shop, construction, or related experience preferred.
- Experience with commercial or industrial painting is a plus.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Must be clean shaven for respirator compliance.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Smartphone required for timesheets and communication.
- Availability to work at least two weekends per month.
- Dependable and safety-conscious.
