Position Summary
Seeking a Shop Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of heavy construction equipment in a shop environment. This role will support both company-owned and customer-owned equipment while performing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical repairs. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, heavy equipment experience, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

Seeking a Shop Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of heavy construction equipment in a shop environment. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair construction equipment including cranes, lifts, bulldozers, and other heavy machinery.
- Perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and equipment inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize diagnostic software, laptops, gauges, and testing equipment to identify equipment issues.
- Read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and technical documentation.
- Complete service reports, work orders, and repair documentation while maintaining OSHA safety standards.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment or construction equipment.
- Proficiency with laptop-based diagnostics and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and service manuals.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic welding skills and familiarity with common shop tools.
- Customer-focused attitude with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Experience working on Liebherr, Roadtec, Gomaco, Manitowoc, or Grove equipment.
- Experience with cranes, lifts, earthmoving equipment, and paving equipment.
- Knowledge of OEM repair procedures and equipment diagnostics.
- Experience performing hydraulic and electrical system repairs.
