Shop Manager

Applied Industrial Tech-Cangro, a UL certified Panel Shop has an opening for a Senior Control System Engineer:

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Sales staff to develop and drive sales to the Panel Shop.
• Managing our in-house Control Panel Shop.
• Providing field support over the phone and occasionally out in field.
• Instructing and working with our Panel Shop Technicians in the fabrication of control panels.
• Procuring all the components used in the Panel Shop.

Requirements

• 3+ years in the Design and Fabrication of Industrial Control Panels.
• Equivalent to B.S. in Engineering or comparable design experience.
• Able to design and draft small control systems using AutoAD Electrical, including schematics, panel layouts, bill of materials, special details, etc.
• Specify all the components of the control panel.
• Program PLCs and HMIs; variable frequency drive programming and testing knowledge required.
• Experienced in factory testing of controls and control panels.
• Familiar with UL508A standard for Control Panels.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Knowledge of SAP would be a plus, but is not required. Applied will provide software and office systems instruction.
