Shop Manager

Parlor’s Ice Creams is Dallas’ ice cream shop. We serve classic scooped ice cream with super nostalgic flavors and make our ice cream the way it used to be made back in the day – from scratch, in-house. We source our ingredients from local businesses that use sustainable and organic practices that align with our values, when possible. We source, mix, age, pasteurize, bake, freeze, and scoop all in-house to create the best tasting ice cream out there. We also serve incredible customer service. Parlor’s Ice Creams has been selling our pints and scoops since October 2019 at local farmers markets and pop-ups. Our Hillside Village scoop shop in Lakewood is our first brick-and-mortar shop and we will be opening our second shop in University Park, Fall 2026.

Time Commitment

Part-Time or Full-Time (about 30-40 hours per week) Monday-Friday with holiday and weekend flexibility required

Job Description

We are looking for a Shop Manager to manage our Snider Plaza scoop shop! Our Shop Manager is an attentive, detail-oriented leader with great time management skills. They keep the shop running smoothly and guide our Shift-Leads and Scoopersto ensure we are putting our best foot forward as Dallas’ local ice cream company. Shop Managers run the shop – they interact and serve our customers, they manage our team members from interviewing to leading our current team, they maintain the shop from ensuring supplies are stocked to scheduling required maintenance, and they act as the shop liaison to ownership. Our Shop Manager keeps our little scoop shop’s hearts beating!

Compensation & Benefits

$30/hourplus annual bonus based on business performance. Company subsidized health insurance may be offered after one year of employment and demonstrated excellence.

Experience

Past managerial position experience preferred, demonstrated ability to handle significant responsibility and make thoughtful decisions.
