High‑Performance Shop Manager

Schedule: 4x10 (Mon–Thu, early start 6:30 AM - 7:00 AM)
About the Role
Prestige Motorsports is seeking a hands‑on, operations‑driven Shop Manager to lead daily workflow, technicians, customer communication, scheduling, and quality control in a high‑performance and classic restoration environment.
You’ll ensure every build leaves the shop on time, on budget, and at Prestige‑level craftsmanship .
Work Schedule
- 4‑day work week (4x10)
- Monday–Thursday
- Early start (6:30 AM)
- Onsite whenever technicians are working
- Flexibility for overtime or occasional Fridays
What You’ll Do
- Run daily shop operations and production flow
- Build/manage schedules, priorities, and project timelines
- Lead and mentor technicians; assign work and monitor performance
- Communicate with customers on timelines, changes, and progress
- Oversee vendor coordination, parts sourcing, and inventory
- Maintain quality control and documentation
- Support budgeting, job costing, and labor tracking
What You Bring
- 5+ years in restoration, performance automotive, fabrication, or similar
- Strong understanding of classic vehicles and high‑performance systems
- Proven leadership managing technicians and complex builds
- Experience with estimating, project management, and vendor coordination
- Highly organized, detail‑driven, and operationally disciplined
- Proficiency with shop management software + Microsoft/Google tools
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Ideal Candidate
You bring a blend of leadership and hands‑on automotive expertise , ideally in high‑performance or restoration environments. You can demonstrate real‑world work through past builds or a portfolio, understand shop operations deeply, and lead technicians with both technical credibility and strong managerial judgment.
Required for Consideration: Visual Proof of Work
Applicants must provide visual evidence of prior projects (e.g., Instagram pages, photo portfolios, project lists, build galleries). These materials are used during screening so hiring managers can evaluate craftsmanship, build quality, and real‑world experience.
