RWC Group is committed to the long-term development of our team members.What We OfferMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance401K PlanPaid time offGrowth opportunitiesPaid TrainingFamily owned and operatedLong term job securityHealth and wellnessDiscounts on products and servicesResponsibilitiesEnsure that all work is completed expertly and meets quality standards.Communicate effectively with other shifts to run workflow efficiently.Keep up-to-date on the latest workplace safety and environmental requirements and implement all health and safety policies on the shop floor.Maintain and service equipment as needed or according to dealership and manufacturer standards.Look out for training and factory technical bulletins as they become available.Conduct the flow of all service work, technician accountability, vehicle repair completion, documentation, and continuous communication with the service advisors.Understand and ensure compliance with all International vendor policies and warranty procedures.Maintain high quality service repairs to minimize comebacks.Ensure that all work is fairly and equally assigned.Investigate the progress of vehicle repair completion by conducting periodic spot checks of all jobs throughout the day to ensure timely repairs, quality workmanship, and cleanliness.Keep abreast of all warranty policies and product changes to maintain effectiveness in this role.Provide on-the-job technical support for technicians and assist in the development of their technical skills and abilities.Ensure that all repairs are documented, technicians' comments are descriptive and precise, and the allotted time is noted prior to submission for closing.Ensure that all vehicles are road tested and that the repairs were completed correctly.Review and sign off on all completed repair orders noting technician comments, technician sign off, repair completion and road test completion.Understand and keep abreast of all federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, EPA, etc.Maintain a safe and clean work environment.Ensure proper use, care, and storage of tools.Attend all service department staff meetings.Others duties as assigned by management.Qualifications3-5 years of diesel mechanic experienceTwo year fleet or dealership experience, International dealership experience preferredStrong leadership, interpersonal, math, and typing skillsAbility to prioritize work in a dynamic environmentHigh school diploma or equivalent required
