#CloroxIsThePlaceYour role at Clorox:The Forklift / Shipping Operator is responsible for safely operating material-handling equipment to transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility. This role supports production, packaging, warehousing, and shipping operations while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.In this role, you will:Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSafely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in accordance with company policies and safety proceduresTransport raw materials, supplies, and finished goods to and from production areas, packaging lines, warehouse storage, and shipping locationsRemove finished goods from palletizers and place them in designated warehouse storage locationsLoad and unload raw materials, finished goods, equipment, and supplies from semi-trailers and railcarsPerform quality checks and accurately complete all required documentation and paperworkDeliver raw materials during product preparation and support packaging operations as neededPerform routine and preventative maintenance tasks and report equipment issues promptlyMaintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and assigned work areas (housekeeping)Prepare reports and assist with performance tracking as requiredSuccessfully complete all required training and certificationsStarting Pay Rate: $23.94 an hour.What we look for:Required Skills, Abilities, and ExperienceMinimum of six (6) months of forklift and/or shipping experience requiredOne (1) year of manufacturing or industrial experience preferredValid forklift certification or ability to obtain certificationAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standardsBasic computer and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsAbility to occasionally lift up to 50 poundsFrequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling activitiesPhysical activities may include reaching, bending, stooping, and twistingAbility to lift objects from floor or waist height to chest heightProlonged periods of standing, walking, and operating equipmentAbility to safely use material-handling equipment such as pushcarts, dollies, forklifts, pallet jacks, track mobiles, hydraulic or air-driven hoists, scissor lifts, and high-reach equipmentEducation RequirementsHigh School or GED18 years or olderOur Values-Based CultureOur values-based culture connects to our purpose and empowers people to be their best, professionally and personally.
