Material Handler - Shipping Order Picker Job Details
Schedule : 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
Pay Rate : $17.00/hr
Location : Florence, KY
Material Handler - Shipping Order Picker Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required - no permits or IDs.
- Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
- Must be able to speak English.
- Ability to load and unload materials.
- Ability to wrap pallets.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
- Steel-toe boots/shoes required - no mesh or composite toes.
- Jeans or full-length work pants required; no rips, holes, or leggings.
- Safety glasses required; provided on the first day.
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and workplace guidelines.
- Must not miss work during the first week.
- Doctor's note required before 5:00 PM on the day of any missed shift.
- Background requirements apply.
As a Material Handler - Shipping Order Picker, your responsibilities will include:
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials and shipments.
- Wrap and prepare pallets.
- Assist with shipping department operations.
- Pick and stage orders as assigned.
- Maintain organized material flow throughout the department.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
