The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Lead and direct the daily activities of the loading and shipping teamCoordinate loading priorities based on production schedules and customer delivery requirementsEnsure all shipments are accurate, complete, and meet customer specifications before departureVerify product identification, bundle tags, labels, and shipping documentationComplete and maintain accurate shipping transactions within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)Coordinate with Production, Customer Service, and Scheduling to meet shipping commitmentsOperate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment safelyEnsure trailers are loaded properly with correct weight distribution and securementMonitor finished goods inventory and investigate inventory discrepanciesTrain employees on shipping procedures, MES transactions, safety policies, and standardized workEnforce company safety policies, housekeeping standards, and 5S practicesConduct daily inspections of shipping equipment and loading areasIdentify and implement process improvements that improve safety, quality, and efficiencyAssist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and continuous improvement initiativesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum of 3 years of manufacturing, warehouse, or shipping experienceMinimum of 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience preferredExperience operating forklifts and overhead cranesStrong computer skills with the ability to learn and use MES, ERP systems, and Microsoft OfficeAbility to read work orders, shipping documents, and production schedulesStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple prioritiesCommitment to workplace safety and quality standardPrevious experience using a Manufacturing Execution System (MES)Experience in metal manufacturing or the building products industryKnowledge of inventory control and warehouse best practicesLean Manufacturing, 5S, or Continuous Improvement experienceFamiliarity with DOT loading and cargo securement requirementsAdditional InformationSite Address: 4020 SW 449 St, Horseshoe Beach, Florida 32648Why Work For Cornerstone Building Brands?Our teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
