Shipping Coordinator IThe Shipping Coordinator I is responsible for executing established shipping procedures with a primary focus on freight coordination. This role performs routine shipping functions while working closely with the Shipping and Sales teams under the direction of the Shipping Manager.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesShipment Scheduling and CompletionCoordinate domestic and international shipments by arranging transportation with freight carriers in accordance with customer guidelines and packing lists.Schedule LTL and FTL shipments through customer portals as required.Utilize software, such as UPS, FedEx, etc., to process parcel shipments.Collaborate with team members to organize daily shipping activities and ensure all shipments are completed by scheduled ship-date.Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Data Entry and DocumentationCreate, process and maintain shipping documentation and packing lists using SAP.Accurately enter and verify data related to work orders and finished goods.Job RequirementsEducation and CertificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent education and/or relevant work experience.Technical RequirementsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred.Prior forklift experience preferred or willing and able to become certified.Ability to communicate professionally via phone and email.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to follow written and verbal instructionsSchedule RequirementsFlexibility to work overtime as needed.Physical DemandsAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs.Frequently required to stand, walk, bend and stoop.Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts in accordance with established safety policies and procedures.Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.Raycap is a technology leader and global manufacturer with decades of experience providing innovative infrastructure solutions for the telecom, energy, defense, transportation, and other industrial markets.
