Shipping CoordinatorThe Shipping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of shipping products to customers and internal transfers. Will plan, schedule, execute shipping activities and ensure timely, accurate and compliant delivery of products.Primary ResponsibilitiesProcesses small part & LTL shipments, processing in timely and accurate mannerUnderstand the logistics process and procedureMonitors age and status of open freight shipments and follow-up on issues as neededFiles and processes paperwork in accordance with the established proceduresSchedules trucks through systems such as SAP and TMSKeeps accurate records on outgoing shipmentsWorks closely with other departments to ensure timely shipments of all products and accurate tracking in operation systemPrepares shipments including taking pictures, writing Bill of Lading/s (BOL) and other required documentationAssists shipping carriers in tracking and shipment informationEducation:High School diploma or GEDKnowledge/TrainingStrong communication skillsExcellent organization and administrative skillsCustomer service skillsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsStrong computer skillsAbility to operate warehouse machinery such as forkliftsDetail oriented and the ability to multitaskKnowledge of warehouse operation systems such as SAP or similarKnowledge of LTL and dedicated servicesProblem solving skills and a desire for continuous improvementExperience:1-3 years shipping experience in a warehouse environment.About WEG Electric Corp.WEG is the largest industrial electric motor manufacturer in the Americas and one of the largest manufacturers of electric motors in the world producing more than 21 million units annually.
