Shipping & Receiving OperatorPrimary Location: Maumee, OH, US, 43537 Remote or On-Site: On-SiteJob Title: Shipping & Receiving Operator Shift: 2nd Shift – 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday – Friday) Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hourOverview: Performs all material handling, shipping, and receiving functions within the facility. Performs basic data entry transactions within SAP.Essential Job Duties:Pulls/Picks customer orders.Operate lift truck equipment.Unload incoming shipments, including bulk tanker trucks.Load outbound shipments and transfers.Generate shipping documents for transfers to 3PL and customer orders.Collaborates with other internal departments to achieve operational goals.Participates on plant teams and serves as a trainer for new hires or other employees.Assure products are properly labeled and all shipments are secured for shipment.Assure all paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to office.Work safely according to company health and safety procedures and policies.Willing to be trained to operate spotter truck, as necessary.Proficient in all areas of and the ability to inventory cycle counts.Maintain work area and warehouse according to the 5S standards established.Other duties as assigned by a lead, supervisor or other member of management.Required Education & Experience: 1-2 years of warehouse experience. Ability to operate sit down and stand-up forklift.
Computer proficiency. Ability to lift 50+. Good attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
Prior experience in manufacturing environment. Shipping experience preferred. Strong math, detail, and organizational skills.
