Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Assistant

Join us in Wixom, MI, where you'll play an important role in supporting the daily flow of materials and finished goods!

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a Shipping and Receiving Assistant, you will support the daily movement of materials and finished goods throughout the facility. Your day will include receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips while identifying and reporting any damaged, missing, or incorrect materials. You will prepare, package, and stage products for outgoing shipments, as well as load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment. Throughout the day, you will maintain accurate inventory and shipping records, assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation, and safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment. You will also help keep warehouse, shipping, and receiving areas clean and organized while following all company safety policies and procedures and performing other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Warehouse, shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience (preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Basic computer and data-entry skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment and work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift
• Forklift experience or certification (preferred)

YOUR HOURS:

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM . Overtime and weekend hours may be required based on the needs of the business.
