This position plays a critical role in our daily operations by safely handling chemical totes, loading outbound shipments, and ensuring materials are transported efficiently and accurately. Position Description
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stage, and transport chemical totes
- Load chemicals into totes following company procedures and safety standards
- Securely load totes onto 18-wheelers for shipment and transport
- Inspect materials and shipments for accuracy and damage before loading
- Maintain organized shipping and staging areas
- Follow all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety regulations
- Perform routine forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Assist with general warehouse and logistics duties as needed
- Work closely with shipping, operations, and management teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Must live in or near the Monroe, LA or Sterlington, LA area
- Valid forklift certification required
- Previous experience operating forklifts in an industrial, warehouse, or logistics environment preferred
- Experience handling chemical products or industrial materials is a plus
- Ability to safely load and secure freight onto 18-wheelers
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift, move, and work in a physically active environment
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required
