Job TitlePart Time ShipperJob DescriptionLeMaitre Vascular is currently seeking an experienced part time Shipper to help out with the daily processing of domestic orders and international orders. The person recruited to this position will play a significant role expediting and routing movement of incoming and outgoing domestic orders and freight shipments. We are looking for a detailed oriented person with a broad range of shipping, receiving, and warehouse experiences, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively.
The ideal candidate will have experience in each of these areas and possess the ability to learn and comprehend quickly.ResponsibilitiesCoordinates with all departments to fulfill specific and ongoing inventory and shipping needsMaintains excellent service by following organization standards of quality and national standards of shipping best practicesEnsures a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; maintains a clean shipping supply area; complies with procedures, rules, and regulationsDocuments any necessary updates to process and aid in inventory managementWorks in other department areas as appropriate to maintain knowledge and relationships necessary for efficient and effective operationOrganizes and catalogues large batches of similar itemsPacks and ships items securely and effectively to minimize breakageBuilds and wraps pallets for secure shipment with freight carriersAides in the cleaning and preparation of machines marked for wholesale, large orders, or special projectsFills all customer orders with accuracy and timeliness. Packs sold items properly and ship in a timely basis per policyEnsures incoming and outgoing inventory and shipments are as secure and well-organized as possibleAdheres to company policies, procedures, and documentation requirementsTreats others with courtesy, sensitivity, and respect at all timesOther duties assignedQualificationsHigh school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Previous experience with UPS and FedEx shipping systems is a plusGreat Plains Software knowledge is a plus.Able to perform frequent repetitive motionsAble to stand for the extended period of time and carry at least 20lbs.Compensation:$21.00 - $23.00 per hourThe range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
