Shift Supervisor duties and responsibilities

Shift Supervisor oversees company operations and helps employees complete their duties efficiently by offering additional resources or guidance. Shift Supervisor will have management, administrative and customer service responsibilities

• Supervising shift workers and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards
• Assigning tasks and projects based on employees’ skills and position responsibilities
• Offering mentorship to employees to refine skills
• Providing customer service and conflict resolution when needed 
• Documenting guest issues, questions and concerns. Role will also include documentation of incidents, such as injuries, personal conflicts and employee requests
• Managing cash drawers and cash deposits
• Scheduling employees based on availability and staffing needs 
• Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and consistent execution of brand standards.
• Lead shifts on the floor, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and quick resolution of guest concerns.
• Problem-solving skills for unexpected circumstances, such as staffing shortages or unhappy customers
