You'll guide and mentor our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), ensure quality care, and oversee daily operations of the home. You'll also be the bridge between the site and operational departments, managing resources, scheduling, and property with care and professionalism.What You'll Do (Essential Functions)Lead and support DSP teams during shiftsProvide hands-on client care and active treatmentCoach and develop staff through daily guidance and bi-monthly 1:1 meetingsEnsure compliance with documentation, bed checks, shift notes, and repositioning notesMaintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environmentManage supplies, schedules, and operational needsRepresent OAC positively in the community, meetings, and eventsParticipate in client activities, events, and outingsComplete on-call rotation with your counterpartAssist with employee development plans and onboarding of new staffAdvocate for clients' wants, needs, and rightsAttend meetings, trainings, and committees as assignedPromote the mission, vision, and core values of OACPerform additional duties as neededWho We're Looking For (Qualifications)Education & Experience:High School Diploma requiredSupervisory experience preferred3+ years working directly with ID/DD clients preferredValid driver's license requiredCPR certification within 30 days of hireProfessional Crisis Management (PCM) certification within 60 daysSkills & Competencies:Strong verbal & written communication skillsEffective time management & organizationAbility to coach and mentor staffBasic computer skills (Word, Excel) preferredPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift/reposition 50 lbs frequently, bend, squat, and move safelyJoin Our Team!At Open Arms Care Corporation, you'll grow your career while positively impacting the lives of those we serve.
