Production Team SupervisorResponsibilities of the production team supervisor include, but are not limited to:Developing and implementing safe work practicesProviding direction and coordinating activities relating to productionProviding leadership to meet/exceed established operational expectations and goalsEvaluating manufacturing equipment for safety and functionalityEnsuring finished products meet quality standardsPerforming complex problem solving while championing continuous improvementTraining and developing new team membersThe ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive, proactive approach to the safety of themselves and others. They should maintain the highest standards for personal and professional ethics and have the savvy, knowledge, and personality to coach and mentor others with a "lead by example" approach. Critical skills include interpersonal communications, conflict resolution, problem-solving, prioritization, and time management.
Detail orientation, self-confidence, emotional maturity, and a sense of urgency are also important.To be considered for this position, candidates must possess high-school diploma or equivalent, stable employment history, and experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Computer proficiency is also required.
