Sheet Metal Mechanic

We are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation of commercial and residential HVAC duct systems, including metal duct and fiberglass board. Candidates should be safety-conscious, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install sheet metal ductwork and fiberglass board.
• Read and interpret blueprints and sheet metal shop drawings.
• Perform all phases of duct installation including spiral, rectangular, double-wall, and welded systems.
• Understand and install various duct connectors and hangers.
• Perform field measurements and layout work.
• Maintain tools and organize work areas.
• Lift and position materials at heights.
• Follow job-site instructions and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of sheet metal, fiberglass, or duct installation experience.
• Commercial or residential HVAC experience preferred.
• Must own sheet metal hand tools (power tools provided).
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Ability to lift 20–100 lbs. and work from ladders and elevated surfaces.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolding.
• Working in confined spaces and outdoor conditions.
• Frequent bending, lifting, and repetitive hand movements.
• Exposure to noisy environments and varying weather conditions.
