SharePoint Consultant (Developer / Designer)OPSTEK is currently sourcing for an experienced SharePoint Consultant (Developer / Designer) to join the team in the Washington DC area. This position will be responsible for:Implementing high quality, scalable and extendable SharePoint solutionsAwareness of migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needsDesign and implement development workflowCoding, testing and implementing solutions in a SharePoint environmentTaking directions from management in implementing solutionsUnit testing for all assigned deliverablesWill work from high level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype, software deployment and administrationAnalyse technologies, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, identify areas for improvement and create specifications and implementThe successful candidate will have the following:At least 3+ years of technical consulting experience or as an architect/programmer, with a minimum of 2 years experience in.Net 3.x, Sharepoint 2007, SQL 2005/2008Excellent knowledge of programming / systems analysis, as well as quality assurance, prototyping, construction, integration, and migration functionsGood problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve technical problems; possesses an excellent understanding of business requirements and IT strategiesPossess strong MS platform knowledge and skillsFull lifecycle experience in architecting large scale scalable applicationsPossess knowledge and experience in developing, customizing and implementing software solutionsStrong customer service skills and demonstrated the ability to build professional relationshipsGood communication skills with the ability to communicate (verbally and written) to all levels of the business
