QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Design and develop SharePoint 2010 sites ensuring strong optimization and functionality
- Assist in the development and maintenance of custom SharePoint solutions and ensure best practices for development are implemented
- Utilize strong analysis, project planning and estimation skills to determine level of effort needed for project delivery
- Interact with client MIS groups ensuring customer requirements are managed correctly
- Work with various database systems including MySQL, and SQL Server and frameworks including ADO and ODBC.
- Analyze, review and modify web systems by designing, maintaining, documenting, testing, developing and monitoring
- At least a 2-year degree, preferably a 4-year in a computer-related field (computer science/programming)
- Microsoft certifications in SharePoint development and desire to stay updated on current and new technologies
- Familiarity with a variety of development frameworks with preferred experience in .Net, Silverlight and Java technologies
- Good database knowledge especially MySQL and good understanding of major operating systems
- Ability to multitask and strong time management and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with offshore development resources, coupled with strong attention to detail
