Overview
SharePoint Developer — 12+ Months Contract — Remote.
Summary Of Work
The IT Developer will support the creation of an Intranet HUB SharePoint Site and support the Digital Services SharePoint unit to design and develop a SharePoint portal unifying various existing SharePoint sites. This Developer will also develop other sites as requested, respond and resolve SharePoint related issues, assist with the development of a governance structure, develop best practices and create training materials. They will conduct training for site owners and end users on site ownership and knowledge transfer activities to staff members.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation and unification of SharePoint sites into an Intranet HUB.
- Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint portals and related sites.
- Respond to and resolve SharePoint-related issues.
- Assist in developing governance structures and best practices.
- Create training materials and conduct training for site owners and end users on site ownership and knowledge transfer.
Required Skills / Qualifications
- Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years as a SharePoint developer, architect, or site administrator.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, Power BI, PowerShell, Office 365, SharePoint, Power Automate.
- Extensive knowledge of SharePoint tools, workflows, PowerApps, and form development.
- Experience with cloud and hybrid SharePoint deployments.
- Experience as a Project Manager.
- Experience developing SharePoint site templates, lists, libraries, workflows, and various site collections.
- Experience in developing SharePoint training materials and conducting training for large audiences (site owners and users).

Compensation
The estimated pay range for this position is USD $65.00 - $73.00 per hour. It is an exempt role. Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
