Overview

Osprey Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Senior SharePoint Developer / Architect to lead the design, development, implementation, and support of a modern SharePoint Online environment within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

This is a hands‑on technical leadership role focused on reviewing solution designs, validating technical architecture, and developing secure, scalable SharePoint Online solutions that support enterprise document management, collaboration, and future AI initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings extensive SharePoint Online development experience, strong Microsoft 365 architecture knowledge, and the ability to partner directly with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and external design agencies throughout the project lifecycle.

The resource will support an initial SharePoint implementation while helping establish a long-term foundation for Microsoft 365 collaboration, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review proposed SharePoint and website designs to ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and alignment with Microsoft 365 best practices.
  • Provide architectural recommendations and technical guidance during solution design.
  • Design, develop, and deploy modern SharePoint Online sites, pages, document libraries, and reusable components.
  • Configure secure authentication, permissions, governance, and document management capabilities within Microsoft 365.
  • Integrate SharePoint Online with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft 365 services, and enterprise business applications.
  • Collaborate with UX/design teams, IT leadership, business stakeholders, and implementation partners throughout development.
  • Participate in design reviews, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and production support.
  • Identify technical risks, implementation challenges, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Document technical designs, configuration standards, governance models, and support procedures.
  • Provide technical leadership and implementation guidance throughout the engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies, including:

  • Experience translating UX/UI designs into production‑ready SharePoint solutions.
  • Experience integrating SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services and enterprise applications.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a fast‑paced consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform:
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Power BI
  • Experience integrating SharePoint with CRM, ERP, document management, or Life Sciences applications such as Veeva.
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled Microsoft technologies.
  • Familiarity with AI agents, intelligent workflow automation, and Microsoft AI services.
  • Experience partnering with digital marketing or UX/design agencies.
  • Previous experience supporting biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or other regulated Life Sciences organizations.

  • Systems Integration: Ability to integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, enterprise applications, APIs, and Microsoft services.
  • Solution Architecture: Ability to review solution designs, identify technical risks, and recommend scalable implementation approaches.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to partner effectively with business stakeholders, IT leadership, UX teams, and third‑party vendors.
  • Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical decision‑making skills.
  • Communication: Excellent documentation, presentation, and communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Adaptability: Ability to support evolving Microsoft technologies, AI capabilities, and enterprise collaboration initiatives.
