SharePoint Admin IT Consultant

Company: Dhaka Technologies Limited – Contract

Location: Washington, United States

Engagement: W2 or 1099 only; no C2C

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage SharePoint site collections.
  • Gather requirements from the business, including content inventory, business process flows, and other details affecting the management and organization of information.
  • Develop and maintain custom site designs with SharePoint Designer and InfoPath.
  • Create and maintain site collection libraries.
  • Develop custom forms, web parts, and custom workflows.
  • Manage permissions, enterprise content, security, and governance.
  • Demonstrate technology to business units and provide training materials and SharePoint resources.
  • Coordinate IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities.
  • Develop technical applications to support users.
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and enforce documented standards and procedures for design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems.
  • Provide training for system products and procedures.
  • Perform monitoring, maintenance, or reporting on real-time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications.
  • Troubleshoot problems.
  • Ensure the project lifecycle is in compliance with established standards and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in a computing systems environment.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint 2010/2013 and related technologies.
  • Experience with Metalogix ControlPoint and Content Matrix (preferred).
  • Advanced skills in the creation and maintenance of system documentation and in change management and problem management practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people, teams, and work efforts, including those involving non-IT participants.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and human relations skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong decisive decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Some local travel may be required.
  • Preferred overall experience of 11–15 years.
