Position Highlights

• Provide state-of-the-art emergency care to Veterans
• Lead process improvements to enhance patient outcomes and hospital standards
• Mentor and teach students and residents, shaping future clinicians
• Engage in ongoing professional development with strong academic affiliations

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency medical assessments, diagnostics, and treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
• Perform evaluations, interpret tests, and make critical treatment decisions aligned with VA best practices

Qualifications

• Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine
• Unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory
• Completion of an accredited residency in a core specialty
• U.S. Citizenship (non-citizens considered only if qualified citizens are unavailable)
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Emergency Medicine

Preferred Experience

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine

What We Offer

• Competitive Salary: $225,000-330,000 Plus performance bonuses and regular raises
• Sign on bonus: Authorized
• Generous Paid Leave: 50-55 days annually, including vacation, sick leave, holidays, and CME days
