Salesforce Technical ArchitectOnsite, Location: Westford, MADuration: Long termA Salesforce Architect is responsible for identifying the organization's needs, breaking down large scale projects to manageable tasks, working out which IT products to use based on cost benefit analysis and research, agreeing plans with the clients and explaining to designers and developers what's required and overseeing the progress and the quality of the SFDC technical projects.Minimum Qualifications:15+ years of experience delivering consulting services, in client-facing roles that provided experience with all aspects of systems implementation, including 5+ years hands-on experience as Salesforce Technical ArchitectFull life-cycle Salesforce implementation with strong expertise in 5 of the following modules: Service Cloud, Community Cloud.Experience architecting and managing at least two large-scale full-life cycle SFDC implementations of CRM solutionsStrong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, other).Deep understanding of SFDC concepts and practices. Able to identify the need and recommend the use of apex and Visual Force to meet a business requirement.Strong Integration experienceStrong understanding of database design concepts, data migration and data integrationMust have experience in developing System Architecture DocumentsStrong technical writing skills. The ability to take the lead role in developing comprehensive solution design documents, application architecture, integration architecture, NFR and deployment documentation.Demonstrates excellence in understanding complex business processes and ability to apply scenarios to Salesforce "Story-lines" as well as make business process modification suggestions to align with Salesforce best practicesOutstanding written and verbal communication skills; executive level presence and experience facilitating meetingsSalesforce Administrator and/or Developer certification required.
Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Certification will be required but are not a pre-requisite for the role.Experience with both agile and waterfall implementation methodologiesResponsibilities:Drives technical (HL and LL) design and development for major components of focused solutionsOffers best practice advice and recommendations to clients often extending beyond Salesforce to topics around overall systems architecture and CRM strategyEngages with Enterprise Architects regarding technical architecture and details of Salesforce and integration/migrationLeads technical requirements gathering and/or design workshops for complex projectsProvides overall systems architecture expertise in order to relate to and build upon existing client environmentsArchitects creative solutions that solve our client's business and technical problemsLeads and facilitates project discovery to define business, functional, and technical requirementsDefines business processes using CRM & SFDC best practicesDevelops data integration, migration and deployment strategiesBuilds & Deploys Salesforce solutionsLead Proof of Concepts and technical solutioningManages and mentors junior team members
