Job Description
- Manage a caseload of sexual abuse and related personal injury matters from intake through resolution
- Evaluate claims, develop litigation strategy, and advise clients throughout the legal process
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and substantive legal memoranda
- Take and defend depositions; participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
- Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and proceedings as needed
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to drive cases forward efficiently
- Maintain high standards of client communication, professionalism, and advocacy
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 4+ years of experience handling sexual abuse and employment law matters
- 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience
- Strong writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills
- Ability to manage complex cases independently while thriving in a team environment
- Plaintiff-side, defense, in-house, or solo practice backgrounds all considered
