Sewing Machine OperatorUnique Sports Equipment ManufacturerPay: $18-$20/hr DOE Schedule: M-F - 7:00a - 3:30p Location: Lansdale, PA 19446Primary ResponsibilitiesFulfill sewing orders of varying degrees of size, difficulty, and types of materials (foam, vinyl). Measure and cut, as assigned.Read and interpret sewing patterns, technical specifications, or production drawings to complete assigned jobs.Perform quality control on all work to maintain the highest level of integrity of the products.Adhere to all OSHA safety laws and regulations.Minimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDExperience working with industrial sewing machines, sewing heavyweight fabricsKnowledge of how to utilize and leverage industrial single and double needle sewing machinesSkilled in measuring, gluing, sewing, and cuttingTeam-oriented attitude with willingness to take direction and help othersAbility to identify needs or foresee issues and take initiative to address them proactivelyPreferred QualificationsExperience with heavy-duty materials or specialty textiles (e.g., vinyl, foam-backed fabrics, canvas)Physical DemandsWill consistently lift, push, and pull up to 20-30 pounds on a frequent basis with up to 50 pounds on occasion.
