As a Setup Technician at our Bryan store, you will assemble and prep new Kubota tractors, mowers, utility vehicles, and light construction equipment, along with Land Pride implements and other attachments. Every unit that leaves our lot starts with you.This position is also a proven starting point for a service technician career. You will work in the shop alongside Kubota-certified technicians, learn the equipment from the ground up, and gain the hands-on experience that prepares you for factory training and advancement into diagnostic and repair work.Most WCTractor Setup Technicians work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays.ResponsibilitiesSetup Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Safely and efficiently assemble and set up new equipment of various types, including tractors, mowers, utility vehicles, implements, and attachmentsComplete pre-delivery inspections to confirm every unit meets Kubota and WCTractor quality standardsInstall attachments and accessories such as loaders, canopies, and hitchesPerform fluid checks, battery installation, tire pressure adjustments, and final operational testingInspect, clean, and maintain shop tools and equipmentReport any faulty equipment or safety hazards to your supervisorQualificationsMinimum requirements for the Setup Technician position include:High school diploma or equivalentMechanical aptitude; experience with hand and power tools, small engines, automotive work, ag equipment, or shop classes is a strong plusAbility to read and follow assembly instructions and torque specificationsComfortable lifting, bending, and working on your feet in a shop environmentAttention to detail and pride in quality workTime management skills and the ability to work independentlyGood communication and customer service skillsNo dealership experience required.
