Sterling Search Partners is helping a client with its search for a Settlement & Claims Support Specialist. The Settlement & Claims Administration Support Specialist provides administrative and customer support for the firm's Settlement & Claims Administration team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring claim submissions, supporting documentation, and claimant communications are processed accurately, efficiently, and confidentially.
While working under general supervision, this role requires a high level of independence, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize a high-volume workload. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused, and able to communicate professionally with claimants, law firms, and internal team members.
Claimant & Law Firm Communication
* Serve as a primary point of contact for claimants and law firms via phone, email, and mail.
* Respond professionally and promptly to questions regarding settlements, claim forms, eligibility requirements, documentation, and submission procedures.
* Document communications, follow-up activities, and correspondence as needed.
* Maintain accurate contact and claims activity logs.
* Receive and process claim forms and supporting documentation submitted by mail, fax, and email.
* Scan, upload, and organize documentation into the appropriate electronic claim files.
* Maintain accurate records of daily claim submissions.
* Prepare and mail claim forms and related settlement materials to claimants.
Claims Review & Documentation
* Upload claimant and law firm documentation into the Claims Portal.
* Review claim forms and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with submission requirements.
* Identify missing or deficient documentation and communicate deficiencies when necessary.
* Review supporting medical and other documentation to evaluate claims according to established scoring guidelines.
Administrative Support
* Handle confidential claimant and firm information with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
* Prioritize workload to meet deadlines and production goals.
* Communicate proactively with supervisors regarding workload, deadlines, or resource needs.
* Collaborate with Settlement & Claims Administration team members to support department objectives.
* Assist with additional settlement administration projects and other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
* High school diploma or GED required.
* One to two years of experience in a professional office environment supporting internal teams and external customers.
* Previous experience in a high-volume customer service, receptionist, or call center role is preferred.
* Experience in the legal, healthcare, insurance, or claims administration industries is a plus.
