ServiceNow Project Manager – Technology Modernization RemoteNext Generation Inc. (NGI) is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Project Manager to lead enterprise ServiceNow modernization initiatives within a large-scale public-sector transportation environment. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering ServiceNow implementation and enhancement projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder expectations, and organizational standards.The ideal candidate will bring strong project planning, execution, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex technology initiatives across technical and business teams.Job ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow modernization initiatives, including new implementations, upgrades, and enhancementsDevelop, manage, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risk registersEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budgetCoordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and system integratorsManage stakeholder expectations through clear communication, status reporting, and issue escalationDrive alignment between ServiceNow solutions and business objectives across the organizationFacilitate project governance activities, steering committee updates, and executive communicationsIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the delivery lifecycleSupport change management and adoption efforts to ensure successful rollout of ServiceNow solutionsEnsure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and public-sector governance requirementsKey RequirementsBachelor's degree in a related discipline (Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience)8+ years of experience supporting or delivering enterprise technology initiativesMinimum 2 years of experience as a Project Manager leading complex technology projectsDemonstrated experience in project planning, scheduling, execution, and evaluationStrong understanding of technical concepts and system implementation lifecyclesProven ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and business usersExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred QualificationsPMP certification or equivalent project management credentialPrior experience managing ServiceNow implementations or modernization programsExperience in public-sector, transportation, or highly regulated enterprise environmentsFamiliarity with Agile, hybrid, and/or traditional project delivery methodologiesJob BenefitsCompetitive hourly rate range of $80 to $100 an hour based on experience and education
