Job Overview
Location: Austin, Texas, United States. Salary: $103,200 – $210,900 per year.
Position: ServiceNow ITOM Manager.
Responsibilities
- Execute deep technical configuration and scripting for ServiceNow ITOM, including discovery patterns, probes, sensors, MID server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain integration solutions with external systems such as monitoring tools and CMDB feeders.
- Translate technical requirements and architecture into scalable, supportable implementations.
- Collaborate with solution architects and engagement leads, and conduct design sessions and code reviews.
- Support system testing, UAT, deployment, and ongoing performance tuning.
- Engage with clients during technical workshops, validations, and post‑go‑live support.
Desired Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow scripting methods.
- In‑depth understanding of ServiceNow CMDB, discovery patterns, infrastructure modeling.
- Experience integrating with third‑party tools such as SolarWinds, SCOM, Dynatrace, and LogicMonitor.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with MID servers, connectivity, and system performance.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of professional experience.
- 5+ years of direct ServiceNow ITOM hands‑on work.
- 3+ years delivering ServiceNow implementations and integrations with emphasis on ITOM.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and configuring ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Ability to deliver technical solutions independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within distributed teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% for client engagements.
Certifications (Preferred)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Discovery, Service Mapping, or Event Management.
- Certified Application Developer (CAD).
