ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management ConsultantJob Location: Moline, IL (Remote till Covid) Job Type: Full-Time / Contract Experience: 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, Asset Management, ServiceNow Discovery (knowledge) and 7-10 years working on a team as part of a large IT organization.Job Description:Design and implement solutions for end to end Asset management lifecycle.Interact with the Asset Management system to ensure data quality of new or changed Asset recordsEnsure data integrity both from the ownership and discovery standpointsUse the common service data model concepts to maintain the data integrity between cmdb and asset as required.Analyze the different CI and data sources (with Discovery, procurement system etc) and establish process and solution for maintaining data integrity coming from multiple sourcesMonitor ITAM Metrics to determine efficiencies: take appropriate actions to modify.Work on finding root cause around asset data issues and propose solution for elimination of the same.Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.Work with process owners to understand the process requirements related to the capture of configuration data and develop technical specifications and solutionsFunctional architects experience required.Work with Application SMEs and stakeholders to perform gap analysis and provide solution.Participate in Configuration Management meetings and Story Time where appropriateReview the data being populated into the CMDB and act as partial owner of the CMDBServiceNow Certified System AdministrationITIL 2011 Foundation CertifiedQualifications required:Minimum of 3 years' experience with Asset Management.Minimum of 3+year experience with ServiceNow Discovery (will be a plus)Minimum of 7+ years working on a team as part of a large IT organizationHave strong functional knowledge and technical skills.Experience integrating with tools to federate data into the CMDBExpert in IT Asset Management Lifecycle processes (including hardware and software)Good interpersonal skills, including collaboration, communication, relationship building, and negotiationExpert in IT Asset Management process & operational deliveryFamiliarity with the following concepts: XML, JSON/script language, database.Ability to discuss credentials, install a product, troubleshoot permission issues, discuss and trouble shoot network connectivity with network engineersPreferred: Scripting capabilities such as JavaScript, jelly, SQLAbout us: Founded in 2007, InterSources Inc is a Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) & Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Certified Company specializing in providing IT Consulting, IT Staffing Solutions, and Software solutions.
