Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to understand asset management needs, configuring the ServiceNow Itam module, and implementing custom solutions to optimize asset tracking, compliance, and lifecycle management.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with It and business stakeholders to gather and understand asset management requirements.Translate business needs into technical specifications and design Itam solutions accordingly.Customize and configure the ServiceNow Itam module to meet asset management needs.Define and maintain asset classes, categories, and attributes.Implement asset lifecycle management processes.Configure and maintain asset discovery tools and integrations to populate the CMDB with accurate asset information.Establish data import/export processes to keep asset data up-to-date.Develop custom scripts and business rules using JavaScript and GlideScript to enhance asset management processes.Create custom workflows, notifications, and approvals for asset-related activities.Implement software license management processes within ServiceNow, including license tracking, compliance, and optimization.Develop software catalog items and workflows for license requests and software provisioning.Customize the asset procurement process within ServiceNow, including purchase requisitions and approvals.Implement cost tracking and reporting for It assets.Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to provide insights into asset utilization, compliance, and cost optimization.Develop custom reports as needed by the organization.Document configurations, customizations, and best practices related to ServiceNow Itam.Provide training and support to end-users and Itam team members.Monitor and maintain ServiceNow Itam instances, applying updates, patches, and enhancements.Continuously optimize Itam processes to improve efficiency and compliance.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Certification as a ServiceNow Developer (ServiceNow Certified Application Developer) is highly desirable.Proven experience in ServiceNow Itam development, configuration, and customization.Strong understanding of It asset management principles, including hardware and software assets.Proficiency in JavaScript and GlideScript.Knowledge of CMDB and data integration best practices.Familiarity with software license management and compliance.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
