You will be responsible for building custom applications, automating workflows, integrating third-party systems, and ensuring optimal performance and scalability of the ServiceNow environment.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain backend functionality within the ServiceNow platform, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, and custom APIs.Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or custom scoped apps.Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.Develop and enforce coding standards, security best practices, and quality assurance procedures.Collaborate with front-end developers, ServiceNow administrators, and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions.Participate in Agile development sprints, sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, security, and functionality.Document technical specifications, implementation steps, and solutions.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.3+ years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.Strong experience with JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow development tools.Hands-on experience with integrations using REST/SOAP, OAuth, MID Servers, etc.In-depth understanding of ServiceNow architecture and best practices.Experience with modules like ITSM, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Workflows.Strong knowledge of ServiceNow's scripting engine and server-side development.Preferred Qualifications:ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git repositories for version control.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Knowledge of database design, SQL, and data modeling concepts.Experience working in large enterprise environments.
