Palmdale Oil procures its fuel supply from various terminals on both coasts of the state of Florida.Palmdale Oil is recruiting a Propane Service Technician at our Old Town location to perform repairs and maintenance on propane tanks, lines, and equipment for both residential and commercial customers.
Responsibilities include responding to gas leak emergencies, conducting pressure checks and leak tests, setting and connecting propane tanks, and converting gas appliances. This role requires participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies and the accurate completion of all related documentation.Key Responsibilities:Perform repairs on existing propane tanks, lines and equipment for commercial and residential customersRespond to active gas leak calls, evaluate and safety repair to propane systemConduct leaking tests, pressure checks and system performance evaluationsOn-call rotation for afterhours emergency callsComplete all paperwork accurately and effectivelyDeliver and set propane tanks with the use of a 2-wheel hand dollyConnect and convert gas applianceRequired Qualifications:Positive, professional, and self-motivating demeanorExcellent customer service, strong work ethic and attention to detail are a mustProvide timely and quality repairs as directedExcellent verbal and written skillsMust have computer skillsStable Work HistoryMust be able to lift 50 lbsKnowledge of LP appliancesBenefits:Our employees and their well-being are important to us.
