Our client, an established electrical services provider, is seeking a Service Sales Director to build and lead a new service-focused business unit.
This leader will develop the commercial strategy, go-to-market model, recurring revenue programs, and sales capabilities needed to grow annual maintenance and service offerings for backup power, uninterruptible power supply systems, and other critical electrical infrastructure.
This is more than a traditional sales role. The Service Sales Director will have broad ownership of the new business unit, including market strategy, revenue growth, service development, financial performance, team building, and coordination with operations.
The ideal candidate has built or scaled a B2B service organization and understands how to turn technical capabilities into repeatable, profitable service programs.
The Environment
The organization provides electrical construction, maintenance, and technical services to commercial and industrial customers.
The company has an existing customer base and operational foundation, but needs a senior leader to develop a clear commercial model for recurring service revenue. The Business Development Director will work closely with company leadership, finance, operations, and service management to create the strategy and systems needed to grow the business.
Candidates located near Buffalo, New York are preferred. A remote arrangement may be considered for someone who can maintain a regular presence at the company’s primary office and travel frequently to customer locations, industry events, and internal meetings.
