TheOpportunity

HitachiEnergyisseekingaServiceProjectManagertosupportcustomersanddrivethesuccessfulexecutionofservice-relatedprojectswithintheGridAutomationbusiness.Inthisrole,youwillserveasakeypointofcontactforcustomers,coordinatingwithglobalexecutionteams,fieldpersonnel,suppliers,andinternalstakeholderstoresolvetechnicalandproject-relatedchallenges.Youwilloverseemultipleprojectssimultaneously,ensuringcommitmentsaredeliveredsafely,ontime,andinalignmentwithcontractualrequirements.Thepositionofferstheopportunitytoworkoncomplexpowersystemprojects,manageremoteteamsandspecializedengineeringresources,andcontributetothereliabilityandmodernizationoftheelectricgrid.Successinthisrolerequiresacombinationofprojectmanagementexpertise,customerengagement,issueresolution,riskmanagement,andcollaborationacrossabroadnetworkofinternalandexternalpartners.

• Serveastheprimarycustomercontactforserviceandproject-relatedneedsthroughoutprojectexecution.
• Takeownershipofcustomerissuesandcoordinateresolutionwithinternalteams,suppliers,andexternalstakeholders.
• PartnerwithGlobalExecutionCenterstoaddresssiteandoperationalchallengesefficiently.
• Managemultipleserviceandprojectactivitiessimultaneouslywhilefollowingestablishedprojectexecutionprocesses.
• Coordinateandsupportremoteworkcrewsandspecializedengineeringresourcestoensuresuccessfuldelivery.
• Monitorprojectschedules,costs,cashflow,risks,andkeymilestonestoachieveprojectcommitments.
• Communicateprojectstatus,progress,risks,andpotentialissuestocustomersandstakeholderswithappropriatedetail.
• Supportscopemanagement,changemanagement,andcommercialopportunitieswhilemaintainingpositivecustomerrelationships.
• Responsibletoensurecompliancewithapplicableexternalandinternalregulations,procedures,andguidelines.

YourBackground

• CandidatemustalreadyhaveworkauthorizationthatwouldpermitthemtoworkforHitachiEnergyintheUnitedStates.
• Bachelor'sdegreeinElectricalEngineeringorarelatedfield.
• Minimumof10yearsofexperienceinProjectManagement,FieldService,ProjectEngineering,orCustomerSupport.
• Knowledgeofprojectmanagementpractices,includingcriticalpathplanning,riskidentification,andriskmitigation.
• Experiencemanagingmultipleprojectssimultaneouslywhilemaintainingattentiontodetailandquality.
• Provenaccomplishmentsincriticalthinkingandissueresolution.
• Strongcommunication,collaboration,andrelationship-buildingskillsacrossdiversestakeholdergroups.
• Experiencemanagingprojectcosts,schedules,andcustomerexpectationsinaserviceorprojectenvironment.
