Senior Service Now DeveloperMode of Interview: Microsoft Teams Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 3 Days Remote / 2 Days Onsite)Client is seeking an experienced Developer/Programmer Analyst III to support enterprise application development initiatives with a strong focus on the ServiceNow platform. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow modules and custom applications while ensuring compliance with agency standards, DIR guidelines, and W3C accessibility requirements. This role plays a key part in delivering scalable ITSM solutions aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.Key Responsibilities:Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow modules and custom applicationsImplement and deploy ServiceNow solutions for TCEQ projectsConfigure: workflows, business rules, client/server scripts, integrations with external systemsEnsure solutions align with: ServiceNow best practices, ITIL-based ITSM processes, TCEQ, DIR, and W3C standardsPerform ServiceNow administration, upgrades, and enhancementsSupport System Acceptance Testing (SAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutionsRequired Qualifications:Minimum Experience: 8+ years of advanced experience with ServiceNow platform and scripting7+ years of experience with: Flow Designer, Service Catalog, system integrations7+ years of experience with ITIL-based ITSM processes7+ years of experience in ServiceNow administration and platform updatesCore Skills: Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and development best practices, expertise in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, etc.), experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems (APIs, web services), solid understanding of ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request), familiarity with accessibility standards (W3C compliance)Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with government agencies or public sector clientsServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, or CIS)Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
