The John J. Pershing VA Medical Center is seeking an accomplished physician leader to serve as Service Line Chief at the Cape Girardeau VA Health Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. This key clinical leadership position provides oversight of physician practice and assigned clinical services while allowing the successful candidate to continue practicing within their medical specialty and maintain clinical proficiency. You will work closely with facility leadership and multidisciplinary clinical teams to guide clinical operations, quality, access, resource management, and Veteran care.

Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of physician practice and assigned clinical services
- Continue practicing within medical specialty and maintain clinical proficiency
- Provide senior medical leadership for the Cape Girardeau HCC
- Help guide clinical operations, quality, access, resource management, and the delivery of high-quality Veteran care
- Work closely with facility leadership and multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Help shape services that respond to the evolving needs of Veterans
Compensation
- Salary from $260,000 to $375,000
Qualifications
- Preferred specialties include Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Radiology, General Surgery and Urology
- Physicians specializing in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Primary Care and Emergency Medicine will also be considered
