Service Advisor Position at Lexus of Austin

Lexus of Austin, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for experienced Service Advisors to join our team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences.

As a trusted Service Advisor, you will be the liaison between the customer and the service department, scheduling appointments, reviewing service history, relaying important information about vehicle maintenance and repairs to customers, and providing accurate cost estimates.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Service Writer, Service Consultant, or Luxury Automotive Service Advisor.
  • Lexus or Toyota dealership experience is preferred; experienced Service Advisors from other automotive brands are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance recommendations, repair processes, and customer communication.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build trust, explain repair recommendations clearly, and provide accurate estimates.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset.

Work Environment/ Physical Demands

Will primarily work in an automotive shop environment. Workspace is covered but may involve various weather conditions such as heat and cold as well as safety hazards due to the nature of work. May experience loud noise on a regular basis. Medium/Heavy Work---Will lift over 50 pounds with assistance device required and/or frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to or over 35 pounds with assistance device available as needed. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Works evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or the equivalent or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

Prior experience in service department.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications (Certification/Licenses/Registrations)

Valid Driver's License.
