Pastiamo Osteria is bringing authentic Italian flavors and vibrant hospitality to Washington, DC’s Woodley Park neighborhood.

We are building an energetic, professional, and passionate Front of House team dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences.

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

Servers

• Deliver exceptional, attentive, and personalized guest service.
• Maintain excellent food, wine, and beverage knowledge.
• Guide guests through menu selections and recommendations.
• Handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain service standards and dining room presentation.
• Previous upscale casual or full-service restaurant experience preferred.
• Italian restaurant experience is a plus.

Bartenders

• Prepare and serve classic and contemporary cocktails.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of spirits, wines, and beer.
• Knowledge of Italian wines, aperitivos, and classic Italian cocktails preferred.
• Deliver engaging, professional bar service.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory standards.
• Work efficiently during high-volume service.
• Previous full-service restaurant bartending experience required.

Hosts / Hostesses

• Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements.
• Coordinate dining room flow with management and servers.
• Provide an exceptional first and last impression.
• Handle guest inquiries and special requests.
• Maintain a polished and professional appearance.
• Experience with restaurant reservation systems preferred.

Bussers / Server Assistants

• Assist servers in providing seamless guest service.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and organization.
• Support food running and water service as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the service team.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and reliability.

General Requirements

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
