Job overview:
To work with the F&B team delivering a high standard of service to the Club’s members in the dining room, at private parties and at Club Events. To also support the wider team in making The Philadelphia Club one of the finest private members’ clubs in the United States.
- To provide high levels of service throughout F&B areas – the dining room, private dining rooms and at Club Events.
- To help set up private parties and events.
- To be a charming and helpful member of the team, ensuring Club members and their guests receive excellent service.
- To help support other F&B areas as required (e.g. the bar).
Hours of work:
As required by the needs of the business, 35-40 approx. The normal working week will mostly be Monday to Friday, but you may be required to work weekends (occasional Saturdays or Sundays).

Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience as a server.
- Some food knowledge (American and European food).
- Basic wine knowledge (American and European wines)
- Good communications skills, both verbal and written. Fluency in English is essential to this role.
- Physical requirements for this role include but are not limited to: lifting of heavy objects, reaching including overhead, stooping, bending, and standing for prolonged periods of time.
- Experience of complaint handling and the ability to deal with any Member’s complaints in a polite and professional manner and bring them to the attention of the General Manager.
