Altro Paradiso is seeking a Part-Time/Full-Time Server. 

From globally acclaimed chef Ignacio Mattos, Altro Paradiso is a recently Michelin-recommended Italian restaurant in the heart of SoHo and a staple of New York City dining. Since opening in 2016, it has built a loyal following of neighborhood regulars and returning travelers alike, offering regionally inspired Italian cooking in a vibrant, light-filled space.

We are seeking a professional, hospitality-driven Server who brings warmth, precision, and a strong understanding of food and beverage. This role is responsible for guiding the guest’s overall dining experience through attentive, knowledgeable service and seamless communication with both the service and kitchen teams.

Lunch and weekend availability is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Excellence

• Take guest orders accurately and efficiently.

• Provide thoughtful, informed menu and beverage recommendations.

• Ensure food and beverage are delivered promptly and meet quality standards.

• Maintain attentive service throughout the guest’s experience.

• Communicate food allergies and dietary restrictions clearly to the kitchen.

• Build meaningful relationships with repeat guests.

Team Collaboration

• Participate actively in pre-shift meetings and ongoing service trainings.

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members and management.

• Support colleagues during service while managing individual responsibilities.

• Uphold occupational health and safety standards.

Guest Experience

• Ensure all guests receive courteous, polished, and efficient service.

• Respond professionally and promptly to guest feedback or concerns.

• Maintain a welcoming, organized dining room environment.

Physical Demands

• The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
