The Golden Swan is an elevated yet approachable neighborhood restaurant in the heart of the West Village, occupying the storied former Spotted Pig space. We serve a comforting and delicious menu of New York Bistro classics, along with a serious wine and cocktail program rooted in top-tier iterations of classics, and we're building a floor team that delivers polished, warm, genuinely hospitable service.

As a Server/Captain, you own your section end to end. You set the pace and tone of the guest experience, guide guests through the menu and beverage list with confidence, and coordinate seamlessly with runners, bartenders, and the kitchen to deliver a flawless meal from greeting to goodbye.

• Deliver refined, attentive service that reflects the standards of a fine-dining room
• Guide guests through food, wine, and cocktail selections with genuine knowledge and warmth
• Manage your section's timing, flow, and communication with the kitchen and support staff
• Execute steps of service consistently and lead by example on the floor
• Handle guest needs and resolve issues with poise and professionalism
• Maintain cleanliness, side work, and setup standards throughout service

• 2+ years of full-service or fine-dining serving experience (Captain/lead experience a plus)
• Strong working knowledge of wine and cocktails, or a real eagerness to learn ours
• Polished, warm, and guest-focused presence with excellent communication skills
• Ability to stay calm and organized during high-volume service
• A team-first attitude and reliability your colleagues can count on
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• NYC Food Handler's certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
