Server — The Green Room 42 / Social Drink & Food

The Green Room 42 (TGR42) and Social Drink & Food (SDF) are seeking experienced, energetic Servers to join our team.

Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, TGR42 is a premier cabaret and live performance venue, while SDF provides a full-service food and beverage experience before and throughout performances. We’re looking for hospitality professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand that great service is about much more than simply taking orders.

What You’ll Do

• Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service to guests before and during performances
• Manage multiple tables while maintaining strong attention to detail and timing
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Guide guests through our food, cocktail, wine, and beverage offerings
• Actively identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience through thoughtful recommendations and upselling
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables throughout service
• Communicate effectively with FOH, BOH, bartenders, managers, and support staff
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns professionally
• Follow all service standards, side work, and opening/closing procedures
• Maintain a polished, professional presence throughout the shift

What We’re Looking For

• Previous serving experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, hospitality, or entertainment environment
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage; wine and cocktail knowledge is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain composed and attentive during busy performances
• Strong sales instincts and confidence making recommendations
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and performance nights

Experience with cabaret, nightlife, live entertainment, or high-volume dining is especially welcome.
