Overview: We are looking for passionate and reliable Servers with a strong sense of team-work who will strive to create the ultimate guest experience. Success in this role will require warmth, confidence, focus, and attentiveness to guest needs. This position reports to the General Manager & Assistant General Manager. Ideal candidates must be able to work well with others, communicate effectively, and take on a variety of roles and tasks as needed to enable the success of Wildcrust’s operations.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Uphold service and beverage standards
- Provide knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful service at all times
- Be able to properly describe components and ingredients of food and beverage menu items
- Ensure guest needs are met throughout the dining experience
- Tend to special guest needs and requests
- Set and clear tables
- Interface with the Expediter and Back of House team to bring dishes ready for service to guest tables quickly and accurately
- Inspect tables for proper presentation
- Assist co-workers with all aspects of service and restaurant operations
- Place customer orders and close out guest checks via Toast POS
- Adhere to all company service standards and protocols
- Responsibly serve alcoholic beverages
Desired Qualifications:
- 1+ years serving experience
- Strong service skills
- Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, managers, and coworkers
- Food and beverage knowledge required
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to change as part of the Wildcrust’s team
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 25+ pounds
- Safely and effectively use all necessary tools and equipment
- Stand and walk for an entire shift (up to 8hrs), including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant
- Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
Compensation:
- Hourly ($18.42) plus tips
